Here is “The Anti-Fire” album and the story behind it in full. 

In parts 1 and 2, Chris talks about the position the band found themselves in, in 2008 before choosing a producer for their second album.  The first album “Violence and Birdsong” had been well received and sales were good without being great, shows were starting to get busier across the U.K and Europe and there was a real sense of optimism from all involved about what a second record might achieve.

In parts 3 and 4 Chris details the fall outs, changes of heart and life events that led to the album being shelved in 2009.

The whole Union of Knives thing was put on ice until, as explained in the epilogue, a new album was made and released in 2021.  This de facto third album is called “Endless from the Start”.
